Should I install Vista 64 bit?

I shouldn’t install it. But that article was written in 2006
I run a8n-sli motherboard. Have 4GB of memory. Will my hard drives be detectable? I have LaCie hard drives. And an iPod. And a Sony Walkman, a logitech webcam, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, etc.
Is there a software that can check for 64-bit compatibility?
Install Windows 7 RC x64 instead. Vista still sucks. You shouldn’t have a problem with Adobe software as long as it’s the past couple of year’s versions and not from like 2005.
How to use a Blog, Journals or write Articles to get my story out there? How to get my story noticed?

I have been writing for the past 5 years, I started writing when I was diagnosed with Cancer back in 2004. I continued to write throughout my whole Cancer experiences and the after effects I am living with currently on a daily basis. I am interested in writing a Memoir but I have no experience in writing a book and not sure how to get help writing my book.
I was told that I should start a Blog or a Journal online that I will write on every day, they told me it will help get my story noticed, it will help create feedback, it will help create followers who are interested in reading my entries every day, etc. The idea sounds good, but I am just not sure what Blog site to use or what Journal software or website to use either. What I also don’t know is how would people know about my Blog or read my Blog? I would have to email everybody I know and tell them I have started a Blog and they should read it? or are there other ways to have other people read my Blogs or Journals? I want to have other people besides my friends and family read my Blogs or Journals or Articles, or even short stories, I am just not sure how to advertise my stuff.
I would appreciate as much information on this as possible, even if you can point me in the right direction it would be appreciate. I am only looking for some helpful, positive advice, if you have something stupid to say than don’t bother. Its amazing how so many people leave negative answers or answers that have nothing to do with the question.
I look forward to your help and assistance, I want my story to be known, its not to make money with its just to let my story be known. I feel it will help people who are diagnosed with the Type of Cancer that I had to hear everything that I have went through so they know what to expect. I want to help others, not take there money.
